Cover design for two academic thesis. One cover depicts needles and thread, which represent the process of repairing DNA strings. The second cover depicts abstracted seqouia trees surrounded by smoke. The seqouia trees are a symbol for the lungs of the earth, needing fire in order to reproduce. Both were printed including a glossy UV lacquer finish, highlighting certain details. We also designed bookmarks accompanying each thesis.
